Happy New Year!!!! We spent New Years Eve at some friends house. They had us and 4 other families over. Our family (with 5 kids) was the 2nd smallest family there.....How's that for a house full? Kids and adults played games, talked, ate and ate and ate and a movie (or maybe two) was watched by a few and everyone over the age of 2 and under 65 made it until midnight. (one 1 1/2 year and one grandpa didn't!) What a great way to ring in the new year!! And to my kids joy..we finally got snow in Minnesota!! It was a weird December, unusually warm....it even rained over the week-end but Jan. 1 brought snow and I have barely seen my older kids since.

Today marks the 11 month point when our application was officially submitted to Holt for our Olivia and no the Travel approval did not come today....but I am hopeful....by weeks end. Keep up those prayers!
